Zilla Panchayath Dharwad

Zilla Panchayat Dharwad is the apex body of the three-tier Panchayati Raj system in the district, established under the Karnataka Panchayat Raj Act, 1993. It facilitates decentralized governance and rural development through elected representatives at the district level. The Zilla Panchayat oversees planning, implementation, and monitoring of schemes related to health, education, sanitation, water supply, and infrastructure. It works in coordination with Taluk and Gram Panchayats to ensure inclusive development.
